Mont Boron Park
A wooded hill of 57 hectares between the harbour of Nice and Villefranche, with 11km of trails, a 16th-century fort and a rocky cove below — largely unknown to visitors who stay on the Promenade des Anglais.
Wedged between the harbour of Nice and the Bay of Villefranche, Mont Boron remains one of the blind spots of Nice tourism: fifteen minutes' walk from the Old Port, its Aleppo pines and olive trees hide a 16th-century fort, eleven kilometres of trails and a 360° panorama from Cap Ferrat to the Estérel — a spot no tour coach ever climbs to. Below, the wild cove of Coco Beach rounds off the walk for anyone wanting to extend it with a swim.
