A village clinging to a sheer cliff edge at 760 metres, with a view that reaches, on a clear day, all the way to the sea.

The 12th-century medieval castle, remodelled during the Renaissance, overlooks a garden designed by André Le Nôtre, the landscape architect of Versailles. From the church square, the drop underfoot and the panorama over the Loup gorges give vertigo to the less accustomed.
